CELEBRATING NAIDOC WEEK
This NAIDOC Week we proudly stand as an ally to Australia’s First Nations people. We are proud to have partnered with talented Indigenous owned businesses and social impacts, to celebrate First Nations culture and amplify their voices.
This year’s NAIDOC Week theme, ‘Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud,’ celebrates the enduring strength of First Nations communities. It calls on everyone to show solidarity and raise the voices that have been unheard for too long. By working together, we can create a future that honors and celebrates the stories, traditions, and accomplishments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, enriching our nation with their ancient and vibrant culture.

NAIDOC WEEK DINNER WITH BUSH TO BOWL
THURSDAY 11 JULY
We are proud to partner with local Indigenous owned social impact, Bush to Bowl. We’ve curated a five-course tasting menu incorporating Australia’s native plants and foods, inspired by traditional Aboriginal knowledge and culture. From native thyme and mint dukkah, to smoked wallaby with pickled coastal succulents, we have harnessed the unique flavours offered by our land to serve a curated degustation which fuses traditional cooking techniques and natives informed by Bush To Bowl.
Bush to Bowl is more than just a business; it’s a social enterprise with deep roots in both the Australian landscape and Aboriginal culture. 100% Aboriginal-owned, founded by Clarence Bruinsma (Yaegl) and Adam Byrne (Garigal/Gadigal), with a burning passion to reconnect people to Country and its traditional foodways.
The Bush To Bowl nursery and farm aims to create culturally safe working spaces for the Aboriginal community to work, share knowledge and connect whilst developing the economic position of First Nations communities in the Bushfood industry. Their vision extends beyond the individual. They believe that by fostering a connection with the bush, we create a ripple effect that benefits the entire community. It’s about nurturing a sense of respect and responsibility for the land that sustains us. By giving back to Country, they aren’t just enriching the environment; they’re enriching our collective well-being.
The Nursery and Farm are both places where you can learn, connect over native plants and buy the plants to grow at home or buy direct produce to cook in your kitchen.
Join us as we bridge the gap between the wild bush and the bowl on your table. With every seed planted, every story shared, and every plate filled with delicious native ingredients, we’re weaving a more sustainable and culturally connected future, one bite at a time.
Proceeds from the night will go towards Bush to Bowl, and their continuous goal to create a healing space and platform for First Nations people.
$99 per person, book a table now.
