SURFAID CUP MANLY
Our mates at Surfaid are hosting their annual Surfaid Cup Manly on Friday November 8. The tag-team surfing competition invites teams of four surfers, ranging from all abilities and ages, to raise funds, enjoy the ocean and compete for two awards: Fundraising Champions and Surfing Champions.
Partnering with Surfing NSW, the day aims to raise $100,000 to support women and children in remote parts of Indonesia and Solomon Islands.
We’re giving away a surfboard, painted by local artist Ben Brown. Ben is a Sydney based illustrator, designer and artist, known for his slew of illustrative commisions for the likes of Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Ice Cube, Blink 182, The Pixies, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Cure, and many of the major surf and skate labels. His work has also been across the merchandise and artwork for events like The Big Day Out, Good Vibrations Festival, Homebake, The Falls Festival, Bowlarama and the Australian Open of Surfing.
